CIRS US Team to Unveil Insights on China’s 'One Company, One Product, One Code' Policy at PSX 2023

from CIRS by

Lucy Wang, senior regulatory consultant from the CIRS US team, is set to take the stage at PSX 2023, an annual conference hosted by the Product Stewardship Society. This premier event, known for its dedication to empowering product stewardship professionals, will convene in Boston, MA, October 17-19, providing a platform for Lucy to illuminate an essential aspect of China's hazardous chemical policy.

Her presentation at PSX 2023 will center on China's 'One Company, One Product, One Code' Policy for Hazardous Chemicals. This innovative policy mandates the inclusion of a unique QR code on the label of every hazardous chemical manufactured and imported into China. The QR code contains essential safety information and plays a pivotal role in enhancing the supervision of hazardous chemicals while ensuring the swift and efficient exchange of crucial data related to these substances.

This requirement began as a trial initiative in Guangdong province in June 2021 and has since been gradually expanded across China, promising to revolutionize the landscape of hazardous chemical management.

PSX is the annual conference hosted by the Product Stewardship Society, the leading association for product stewardship professionals. The focus of the conference is to provide attendees with the latest trends in education, valuable solutions to their daily challenges, and networking opportunities to deepen their knowledge and relationships.
