Recent years, with the rapid development of global cosmetic industry, Asia-Pacific region has grown to be one of the biggest cosmetic consumption markets, among which, China is the most important market for all corporations. Therefore, the cosmetic regulations in the Asian-Pacific turn out to be the point of focus of global corporations. For the purpose of helping enterprises have a full understanding of supervisory policies of cosmetic industry in the Asia-Pacific, and promoting the communication on safety management for cosmetic products, Chemical Inspection & Regulation Service (CIRS) and Society of Cosmetic Scientists of Malaysia (SCSMY) will jointly host the 1st Summit on Cosmetic Regulations in the Asia-Pacific-SCRA 2015 in Shanghai, China on Jun 10th 2015.

Focusing on the regulatory updates and supervisory mechanisms of cosmetic industry in the Asia-Pacific, the summit aims to promote the international communication on safety management for cosmetics and to deliver Chinese cosmetic regulations to overseas enterprises.

The committee of this summit has invited experts from Japan, Korea and Malaysia to interpret the current status of cosmetic management and help corporations know the latest regulatory updates and administrative information in these areas. Moreover, Chinese cosmetic regulations have experienced a series of tremendous changes since 2014. Therefore, we have invited the officials from relevant Chinese government authorities to give a comprehensive analysis on cosmetic supervisory policies and their influence on enterprises, so that corporations, both domestic and overseas, would have a deeper understanding of the latest Chinese regulations and management trend on cosmetics.
