ECHA Guidance on the Biocidal Products Regulation - Application of Technical Equivalence

ECHA's guidance on Biocidal Products Regulation (BPR) technical equivalence helps companies demonstrate that their active substance is chemically identical to a reference substance, ensuring its safety and effectiveness for biocidal product authorisation. The process involves submitting a 5-batch analysis via the R4BP 3 system, with applicants providing detailed data on the substance's identity, composition, and hazard profile in either "Tier I" (chemical identity) or "Tier II" (hazard profile) assessments.
