We are pleased to announce the launch of an upgraded Chinese Cosmetic Ingredient Regulatory Database – China CosIng 2.0 – to better help global cosmetic companies and ingredient suppliers comply with cosmetic regulatory requirements in China. The powerful new China CosIng 2.0 introduces several new features and is available in English, Japanese, and Korean. 

New Features

  • Upgraded regulatory information for ingredients: It provides more precise use functions and assessment conclusions by authoritative organizations for higher-risk substances;
  • Multiple ingredient search function: Simultaneous search for multiple ingredients. The system also supports optical character recognition (OCR) searches;
  • Cosmetic formula review: Automatic fix of ingredient names and calculation of content, non-compliance warnings; and
  • Latest news and courses: Free access to the latest cosmetic regulatory news and courses about Chinese regulatory developments.

Since its launch in August 2021, the Chinese Cosmetic Ingredient Regulatory Database (China CosIng) has gained much trust from thousands of companies who use it quickly to search whether a cosmetic ingredient or substance is listed in the latest version of the Inventory of Existing Cosmetic Ingredients in China (IECIC 2021 edition) and whether it is restricted or prohibited in cosmetic products placed on the Chinese market.
