Partnership to strengthen food safety for novel technologies and accelerate overseas market entry for alternative protein companies

On September 24, 2025, we were delighted to welcome over 100 attendees from 20 countries to the CIRS Global Chemical Regulations Conference. It was a day full of expert insights, lively discussions, and valuable networking, showcasing the global nature of the regulatory challenges and opportunities our industry faces. From start to finish, the energy in the room was clear: delegates connected with colleagues old and new, explored fresh ideas, and left with practical updates to support their work.

On February 18, 2025, the Korea Cosmetic Industry Institute (KCII) announced the list of implementing agencies for the 2025 Global Cosmetics Regulatory Consulting Support Program. CIRS Group Korea, the South Korean subsidiary of CIRS Group, has once again been successfully selected. This marks the sixth consecutive year that CIRS Group Korea has been chosen as an implementing agency for this program, demonstrating the company's expertise and influence in the field of global cosmetics regulations.

The CIRS Global Chemical Regulation Conference 2024 brought together industry leaders for a dynamic day of knowledge-sharing and networking. Held on October 17, in London, the event featured nine in-depth presentations and two engaging panel discussions, offering invaluable insights into the latest global chemical regulations, biocides, and sustainable supply chain practices. With experts across the field, the event delivered a comprehensive update on key trends shaping the future of chemical compliance.

On February 20, 2024, according to the announcement No. 2024-001 by the Korea Cosmetic Industry Institute (KCII), CIRS Group Korea, a subsidiary of CIRS Group, together with the Risk Management Research Institute Co., Ltd. and Duksung Women's University, was designated as the executing agency for the KCII’s 『2024 Cosmetic Ingredient Safety Evaluation Research Project』 in the name of the Duksung Women's University Industry-Academic Cooperation Foundation.

On February 29, 2024, CIRS Group Korea was re-selected as the executing agency for the 『2024 Chemical Act and Product Act Small Business Support Project』 of the Korea Chemical Management Association (KCMA).

On February 20, 2024, according to the announcement No. 2024-006 by the Korea Cosmetic Industry Institute (KCII), CIRS Group Korea, a subsidiary of CIRS Group, was designated as the executing agency for the KCII. CIRS Group Korea has been appointed as the designated service organization for the fifth consecutive year for the "Global Cosmetic Licensing Support Project," providing assistance to Korean cosmetic enterprises.

CIRS Testing Korea (YU) has been accredited in accordance with the recognized International Standard ISO/IEC 17025:2017 and is qualified to provide physical and chemical properties testing as well as hazardous substances analysis, which are necessary for substance registration and K-BPR notification.

On August 31, 2022, CIRS Korea registered as an environmental consulting company under the Environmental Technology and Industry Support Act After registering, CIRS Korea may receive preferential access to the environmental policies and other relevant information, making it possible for CIRS Korea to better provide chemical, cosmetics, and environmental consulting services to clients.

3 Jun. 2022, CIRS Group Korea Co., Ltd. (CIRS Korea) formally got certified to the ISO Certification for its compliance with the requirements of Quality Management System ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015 Environmental Management System.
