From November 3 to 4, 2025, the CTPA International Seminar, hosted by the UK Cosmetic, Toiletry and Perfumery Association (CTPA), was successfully held in London, United Kingdom. The two-day event brought together industry experts from around the world to engage in in-depth discussions on regulatory developments in key markets such as North America, the Middle East, and Asia.
Key topics of the seminar included the ban on animal testing, new allergen labeling requirements in the EU, the latest regulatory updates in China and the United States, as well as compliance trends in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region. The seminar provided valuable insights and forward-looking perspectives to help enterprises respond to the evolving global regulatory landscape and develop effective compliance strategies.

At the thematic session on “ASIA – Key Updates” held on November 4, Ms. April Guo, General Manager of Personal Care Division at CIRS Group, was invited to deliver a presentation entitled “Overview of key regulatory developments in South Korea, Japan, the ASEAN, including Indonesia”. In her presentation, Ms. Guo provided a comprehensive overview of the latest developments in cosmetic regulations across major Asian markets, covering key compliance topics such as ingredient management, product registration/notification, and labeling requirements.

Drawing upon both industry trends and evolving regulatory frameworks, Ms. Guo shared in-depth insights and strategic recommendations to help enterprises better navigate the regulatory landscape in Asia. Her presentation offered valuable guidance for companies seeking to expand into Asian markets and adapt to regulatory changes, and was met with strong interest and positive feedback from attendees.
