EFfCI represents European manufacturers of synthetic and natural ingredients used in cosmetics and personal care products. Its annual conference has become a key meeting point for stakeholders across the cosmetic value chain, offering a forum for dialogue on regulatory developments, scientific advancement, sustainability, and innovation.
A platform for regulatory and industry dialogue
Day one (September 30) will be an open conference welcoming both members and external participants. The programme will bring together policymakers, regulators, industry leaders, and scientific experts to explore current trends and emerging challenges shaping the global cosmetics sector.
The speaker line-up, still being finalised, currently includes:
- John Chave, Director General at Cosmetics Europe
- George Manikas, Scientific & Policy Officer at the European Commission
- Beta Montemayor, VP, Director, Science, Regulation & Market Access at Cosmetics Alliance Canada
- Alexander Mohr, PhD, President of the International Fragrance Association (IFRA)
- Prof. Vera Rogiers, Emerita Professor of Toxicology at Vrije Universiteit Brussel
Day two (October 1) will be dedicated to EFfCI members, providing a focused environment for in-depth discussion on technical and regulatory matters.
As global regulatory expectations for cosmetic ingredients continue to evolve, opportunities for open dialogue between regulators, scientific experts and industry are increasingly important.
CIRS is pleased to support EFfCI’s 26th Annual Conference and looks forward to contributing to discussions that will shape the future of cosmetic ingredient compliance and innovation.
