19 National Food Safety Standards (GB) will Come into Force in December

from CIRS by

On June 22, 2018, the National Health Commission of the People’s Republic of China (NHC) issued 27 national food safety standards (GB), including 5 food additive standards, 11 food nutrition enhancer standards, 7 product standards and 4 hygiene standards. Among them, 19 national food safety standards will come into force this year, and the implementation date is December 21, 2018. The other 8 standards will be implemented in 2019 as well.

Relevant enterprises should pay close attention to the implementation time of the relevant standards and the changes in standards, and timely adapt to the requirements of the new standards to avoid unnecessary losses.
